Second Half of Home Cut Donuts Duo Jailed on Robbery Charges

The ex-convict was apprehended at his Joliet home Friday morning.

A second man was jailed for allegedly sticking up Home Cut Donuts early Tuesday.

Quintan “Quinton” Harris, 20, was captured at his Joliet home Friday morning. The cops had tried without success to apprehend him during a Wednesday morning raid, police said.

Harris allegedly held up Home Cut along with 19-year-old Ryan Banks. Officers got to the Jefferson Street doughnut shop almost instantly and caught Banks at Evergreen Terrace a short time later, police said.

Harris was released from prison three months ago after doing time for residential burglary. In addition to aggravated and armed robbery in connection with the Home Cut job, he was charged with violating his parole.

Both Harris and Banks were booked into the Will County jail. Harris’ bond was set at $250,000. Banks is being held in lieu of $500,000.
