Shots Fired During Fight Outside Downtown Joliet Club Mojoes: Police

The police took four into custody but they were all later freed.

Shots rang out in downtown Joliet early Saturday during a fight outside Mojoes, police said.

A large crowd had gathered outside the Cass Street club about 12:30 a.m. and a fight broke out, police said. After two shots were fired, the crowd scattered.

Three women, ages 24, 26 and 28, were taken into custody, as was a 22-year-old man.

The police released two of the women without charge. The other woman and the man were freed after prosecutors decided not to file charges.
