The girlfriend tried to grab a cop's gun and the boyfriend spat on an officer, police said.

A teenage runaway and his girlfriend brawled with three cops after they were caught drinking beer in the back of a Joliet Burger King, police said.
The runway’s mother called the cops about 10 p.m. Monday after she learned her 17-year-old son was at the Burger King on Plainfield Road near the mall. After the officers arrived, the shift manager told them the runaway and his girlfriend, also 17, were drinking beer in the back.
When the officers approached, police said, the runaway reached into this backpack. An officer stopped him and they began fighting. During the scuffle, police said, the girlfriend tried to grab the officer’s pistol out of its holster.
