La Grange Store Robbed At Gunpoint: Cops

The suspect made off with money from the cash register, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – A masked suspect robbed 7-Eleven, 9600 E. Ogden Ave., at gunpoint last week, La Grange police said.

Shortly before midnight Wednesday, the suspect displayed a handgun and stole $500 from the cash register, police said.

The last reported robbery at the 7-Eleven was March 3. Police said a man stole several pieces of merchandise, an unknown amount of money from the register, and a victim's wallet, which contained debit and credit cards, an identification card and about $330.

Armed robberies also occurred at the same 7-Eleven on Nov. 27 and Jan. 15, according to police reports.

For the latest robbery, basic information was released as part of the village's weekly blotter Friday.
