• 5 Vie For Open La Grange Village Board Seat (patch.com) — La Grange residents will see five familiar names step forward to fill a vacant Village Board seat, with each candidate given five minutes to speak at a special public meeting Wednesday at Village Hall. Village President Mark Kuchler will nominate one person, with the board voting on who serves until the April election, in a more transparent process than many other Illinois bodies use.
