LFCDS to Host Boarding School Fair

If you are a student or family with questions about boarding school life, Lake Forest Country Day School (LFCDS) invites you to spend an evening with us at our Independent Boarding School Fair on Wednesday, October 7. The event will be held from 6:30—8:30 p.m. and will feature over 70 diverse boarding schools from across the country, each with a distinctive educational approach. LFCDS has hosted this fair for several years as a service to families from the North Shore and surrounding communities who are considering boarding school for their students, and the public is encouraged to attend.

In addition to providing an excellent education and preparation for college, a boarding school can also offer:

· Challenging academic curricula, including Honors and Advanced Placement classes

· Small class sizes, low student-teacher ratio, and individualized attention

· Broad and diverse offerings in terms of the arts, athletics, and community service

· Cultural Exchange programs, advanced technology, and outdoor and experiential education

· Need-based financial aid programs
