Sheridan Students Participate in 'Girls on the Run' Program

Third and fourth graders learned about teamwork, friendship and completed a 5K race.

Several third and fourth grade girls from Sheridan School in Lake Forest participated in the Girls on the Run (GOTR) program this spring.

According to a District 67 news release, the girls spent two days a week for 12 weeks “learning about teamwork, friendship, how to navigate the social world as well as running and completing a 5K race.”

“They also donated countless hours after school helping teachers pack up their classrooms.”
