• REPORT: CARE Responses Have Increased 51% Since Citywide Expansion in May (chicago.gov) — Lakeview residents are seeing more non-police help for mental health crises, with Chicago's CARE teams handling a rising share of 911 calls from the neighborhood since the program expanded citywide in May. Clinicians and EMTs now respond with medical support, supplies, and follow-up care, and neighbors can specifically request a CARE team through 911 or email for non-emergencies.
