5 Luxury Vehicles Stolen From Libertyville Dealership, 1 Crashes in WI After Police Chase
Authorities are still searching for the suspects.

Authorities are searching for suspects accused of stealing five vehicles totaling over $205,000 from a Libertyville car dealership Sunday night.
The Libertyville Police Department responding to the Nissan dealership in the Liberty Auto Plaza, 920 South Milwaukee Avenue, at about 11:20 p.m. on Sunday for a report of five vehicles leaving at a high rate of speed and without their headlights on, police said.
The thieves broke the glass door on the north side of Gregory Infiniti, 1121 South Milwaukee Avenue, and the following luxury vehicles were stolen:

The thieves then fled north on Milwaukee Avenue. Dispatchers alerted authorities in Racine County, Wis., that the stolen vehicles were headed north on Interstate 94 and multiple deputies reported vehicles operating without lights and traveling at high rates of speeds on the highway. One of the vehicles passed another on the shoulder, according to a news release from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was about to get behind the slowest vehicle but when the deputy attempted to pull the vehicle over, the suspect sped up. The pursuit lasted 4.2 miles and reached speeds of 115 mph before spike strips were set up at County Highway G, which was struck by the fleeing vehicle, according to authorities.

That vehicle then struck another vehicle before heading into the ditch.
Two male suspects got out of the stolen vehicle and fled on foot, leaving behind the severely damaged 2016 grey Infiniti Q60 SUV, according to a Facebook update from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities searched the area, but did not find the suspects who are described as boys in their mid-teens, about 5-feet 6-inches tall with short dark hair. One of the teens was wearing a black hoodie while the other was wearing a blue hoodie.
The vehicle, which was struck, spun into the wall. There were two occupants in the vehicle and one complained of shoulder soreness but refused medical treatment.
Four of the vehicles displayed dealer license plates and one displayed a temporary Wisconsin license plate.
