This is surely a sign that summer is just around the corner: the will open for the season at noon Saturday, May 26.
The National Weather Service has forecast mostly sunny skies with a high of 71 (and a slight chance of showers) for Saturday, but temperatures are forecast to soar to 87 degrees on Sunday. The warm weather is expected to continue on Memorial Day, with a forecast high near 85.
According to the , season passes and family passes are on sale. People can also purchase a 20-visit Punch Pass for just $160.
Adler Park Pool will also host its first-ever Kids Triathlon at 9 a.m. May 26 for children ages 7-14. To sign up for the triathlon — which will include running, swimming and biking — call the pool at (847) 918-7275.
Swimming lessons at the pool will start the week of June 11.
