CCU Announces Four New Management Hires and Promotions

Libertyville, IL, November 14, 2017: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $1.15 Billion, Waukegan, IL) recently introduced four (4) new credit union leaders. Cheryl Kubas is CCU’s first Vice President of Talent Management and John Russo is the new Regional Manager – Member Experience, while Ivona Guziorek is the new Palatine Service Center Manager and Jessica Regalado was promoted to Schaumburg Service Center Manager.

Cheryl Kubas joined the credit union in June 2017 after a human resources career that included such companies as Aon and Hewitt Associates. As the very first VP of Talent Management, Cheryl is charged with driving the talent management strategy while leading the Human Resources Department for the Member-owned credit union. The University of Iowa graduate currently resides in Grayslake, Illinois, with husband Mike and their three children.

As Regional Manager – Member Experience, John Russo oversees the credit union’s six northern locations, where he is responsible for the performance and development of all Service Center Managers, helping them strengthen their team of front line staff in areas such as delivery, relationship building, operations and sales. John brings 20+ years banking and financial services experience with him to his new positon. The Carthage College graduate lives in Huntley, Illinois, along with wife Wendy and their two boys.

Ivona Guziorek joined CCU in August 2017, bringing experience as an Assistant Branch Manager with JP Morgan Chase. As Palatine’s Member Experience Manager, Ivona is responsible for all operational aspects, including hiring and developing her staff in order to provide exemplary service and enhance the Member experience. The Dominican University graduate currently lives in Schiller Park, Illinois.

Jessica Regalado joined Consumers Credit Union in 2014 as an Assistant Member Experience Manager. She brought a wealth of financial service experience to her new position from Associated Bank, where she was a Teller Supervisor, and from Chase, serving as Sales & Service Associate. Jessica is a graduate of Streamwood High School in Illinois, and still makes her home in that community.
