Lisle Eyes To The Skies Festival Called Off Until 2021
The decision was made amid ongoing concern over new coronavirus.

LISLE, IL — Residents who were looking forward to the Lisle Eyes to the Skies in July may be disappointed to learn the hot air balloon festival has been canceled until 2021 amid ongoing worries over new coronavirus. Organizers made the announcement on Facebook Thursday.
They wrote that "While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our attendees, volunteers, artists, vendors, sponsors and community very seriously."
Lisle Trustee Sara Sadat told Patch, "While the festival is ingrained in my families summer memories, I am very proud of the forward thinking eyes to the skies board who have put humanity in front of tradition and history."
