• Illinois American Water customers can speak out against proposed rate hike at Bolingbrook hearing Wednesday (shawlocal.com) — Mokena residents who get water from Illinois American Water could see noticeable bill increases under a proposed $129 million rate hike now before state regulators. A public hearing is set for Wednesday evening in Bolingbrook, where customers from Mokena and other suburbs can speak directly to the Illinois Commerce Commission or submit comments online or by phone.
