Drug Dealer Charged In 7-Eleven Bathroom Overdose: Police
A 28-year-old Montgomery man was found dead in the men's room after a fentanyl overdose.

AURORA, IL — An alleged drug dealer from Aurora is charged with drug-induced homicide after a Montgomery man was found dead of a fentanyl overdose in a 7-Eleven men's room. Illinois State Police said 28-year-old Nicholas J. Hessling was found unresponsive in the convenience store men's room at the DeKalb Oasis at 11:57 p.m. Dec. 10.
A state trooper who responded determined that Hessling was dead. Toxicology reports showed the cause of death to be an overdose with high concentrations of fentanyl.
Investigators determined that Victor D. Peters, 31, of Aurora, was the drug dealer who sold the lethal fentanyl-laced narcotics to Hessling, according to police.

With the assistance of Aurora police, Peters was arrested without incident at his Aurora home on Friday and charged with one count of drug-induced homicide, police said.
Peters has been remanded to the custody of the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office awaiting a bond hearing.
