Scary Clown Charged with Battery at Montgomery Haunted House
Massacre Haunted House employee allegedly touched an Oswego teenager with object, made inappropriate comments.

An Algonquin man, who worked as a scary clown in a Halloween attraction, faces charges after allegedly making inappropriate comments and touching customers outside a Montgomery haunted house.
Robert Keller, 23, of the 0-100 block of Madison Street, was working at the Massacre Haunted House, 299 Montgomery Road, at around 9:11 p.m. Saturday when customers complained that he was saying inappropriate things to them and ”touching them on their body with an object,” police said.

While police did not identify the object, Only Oswego reported that an Oswego father complained after a worker at the haunted house touched his 17-year-old daughter with a sex toy and asked her sexual questions. When the girl’s mother told him to stop, the worker allegedly waved the toy in her face, the site reported.

Keller was arrested by Montgomery police and charged with battery and disorderly conduct, police said.
According to the Massacre’s website, “The actors in THE MASSACRE will not touch you. However, they do get very close. Occasionally you may brush up against their costumes or props, or you may get bumped into by a actor or a person in your group by accident. ”
The business describes itself as a custom-built haunted house “designed to give mature audiences the scare of their lives.”
