Solicitation of Child, DUI: Montgomery Blotter

Arrests occurred between Sept. 2 and Sept. 11

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Sept. 2

Douglas Purcell, 54, of the 2500 block of 18th Street in Broadview, was arrested on two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of indecent solicitation of a child. The arrest occurred in the 0-100 block Civic Center Ave.

Sept. 6

Resident reported someone broke into her unlocked 2012 GMC Terrain in the 1700 Block of Stonegate Drive and took wireless headphones along with an iPod.

Resident reported someone threw a rock at her 2007 Jeep Commander damaging the front windshield as she drove down Montgomery Road at 4th Street.

Sept. 9

Jonah Walker, 20, of the 500 block of Fairhaven Drive, Yorkville, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for expired registration. The arrest occurred at Orchard Rd. at Aucutt

Cynthia Valenzuela, 25, of the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Oswego, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped her vehicle at River St. and Mill St. for no rear registration plate light.

Sept. 10

Brian Uebel, 46, of the 1600 block of GlenEagle Drive, Carpentersville, was arrested for driving while license revoked after police stopped his vehicle for failure to signal at Orchard Rd. and Brentwood

Sept. 11

Brittany Butler, 23, of the 500 block of Parker Ave, Aurora, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs after police observed her sleeping behind the wheel of her vehicle at a stop sign at Sherman and Lincoln. Butler was also issued citations for parking in the roadway, improper backing, improper lane usage and fleeing and eluding.
