Students and staff stayed inside under supervision, and authorities later found no immediate danger, allowing normal operations to resume. Kids from Districts 203, 204, and private schools contributed safety-themed art that will be shared in about 2,000 calendars distributed to classrooms across Naperville.

Raise a Glass for Local Veterans at the 16th Annual 'Cheers For Veterans' Gala (positivelynaperville.com) — Naperville Responds For Veterans is gearing up for its 16th annual "Cheers For Veterans" gala on November 14 at Bobak's in Woodridge, raising money to help local veterans and their families with housing needs. Guests can enjoy dinner, an open bar, auctions, and a truck raffle, while supporters who can't attend may still donate or buy raffle tickets online.
