Joliet Woman Drags Man From Car After Argument With Lover in New Lenox: Cops
The woman's boyfriend asked a buddy to pull the keys out of the ignition, police said.

A Joliet woman dragged a man from her car when he tried to snatch the keys from the ignition, police said.
The cops were sent over to Shagbark Road about midnight Saturday to check out a report of a disturbance. On their way over, police said, officers were told a man had been dragged from a car.
The officers found the man on the ground with the car not far away, police said.

It turned out that the driver of the car, 29-year-old Ashley Casey, had been arguing with her boyfriend, police said. During the argument, the boyfriend reportedly asked a buddy to pull the keys out of the car’s ignition.
As the boyfriend’s pal reached into the car to grab the keys, police said, Casey took off and dragged him along with her.

Casey was arrested on charges of aggravated battery, possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment. She was taken to the Will County jail.
