Whole Person Care: The Health Benefits of Music

Music affects multiple body systems simultaneously and is a unique medium for addressing the health, life and vitality of individuals and communities.

Music-thanatologist Margaret Pasquesi and Music Therapist Rachel Rilinger, both of Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, will draw on their clinical and music skills to discuss the profound ways music impacts our lives.

This presentation will conclude with a participatory, group musical experience, so that participants can have a kinesthetic understanding of the health benefits of music.
