PEER Services is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. We provide affirming services to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Our Programs: Adult Treatment: •	Individual &amp; Group Counseling •	Intensive Outpatient Program •	Medication-Assisted Recovery for Heroin, Opioid Use or Alcohol Use Disorders •	Case Management •	DUI Risk Education &amp; Aftercare •	Alcohol and Other Drug Evaluations •	Recovery Support Specialists •	Recovery Oriented Systems of Care Coalition •	Substance Use Crisis Support at The Living Room (Evanston) •	Partnerships with the United States Probation Office and the Cook County Skokie Court House through our Second Chances Program Adolescent Treatment: •	Early intervention education •	Individual counseling •	Family Support Prevention Services: PEER Services prevention department partners with schools, local non-profit organizations, businesses, local coalitions, and others to help support the community to act as a united front in substance use prevention (SUP) and mental health support. We provide presentations, trainings, and resources for youth, parents, community members, local organizations, and other community entities on topics such as Alcohol, Cannabis, Current substance trends, Fentanyl, Life Skills Training, Decision Making, Peer Pressure, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Opioid Overdose, Prescription Medications, Tobacco, and Vaping

Music-thanatologist Margaret Pasquesi and Music Therapist Rachel Rilinger, both of Midwest Palliative &amp; Hospice CareCenter, will draw on their clinical and music skills to discuss the profound ways music impacts our lives. This presentation will conclude with a participatory, group musical experience, so that participants can have a kinesthetic understanding of the health benefits of music. With more than 400 years collective stage experience the improv afficionados of BLUNCH! have performed on stages across the country, taught at iO, Annoyance, and The Second City, appeared in everything from stand-up to Shakespeare, TV, film, radio, cartoons, commercials, and voice-overs, and now they're coming to The Laughing Academy to show us all how long-form, fully improvised comedy is done!
With stars like Rick Hall (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Everybody Loves Raymond, Seinfeld), Darren Stephens (Chicago Fire, Chicago PD), Pat Musker (Late Night Catechism, Flanagan's Wake) Will Clinger (Fargo, Chicago PD, Stranger Than Fiction, Wild Chicago), and Jack Bronis (The Bear, Chicago PD, The Playboy Club) and our own in-house student long form troupe Scrub Daddies opening the show, this is a night not to miss!

About JAYSON CROSS
Dubbed "The Model Comic," Chicago-born and bred Jayson Cross combines quick wit with leading man looks (he was even featured in Playgirl's 2006 "Hot List"!).
A stand-up comedian, model and actor whose appearances range from national ads for major brands, photoshoots in Cosmopolitan, FHM, Marie Claire, and of course Playgirl (NO, he kept his clothes ON!) to TV work on 'As the World Turns' and 'All My Children,' Jayson has also hosted WE Network's '3 Men and a Chick Flick' and AMC's 'Date Night,' and his stand-up work includes headlining stand-up stints at top clubs like The Ice House, Zanies, and The New York Comedy Club as well as opening for celebrity acts like Kevin Nealon, Aries Spears, A Taste Of Honey, Richard Pryor Jr., Donnell Rawling, Sommore, and Sherrod Smalls.
