David Carrabotta from Niles is running for Trustee on the Maine Township Board of Trustees.

Letter to the Editor

As a Niles homeowner since 1992 with my wife and children, I have taken great interest in our community ushering at St. John Brebeuf Parish, holding officers positions with the Knights of Columbus, served on Review Boards for Eagle Scout candidates and act as a Moot Court Judge for students competing at DePaul College of Law and Lewis University.

I have been an insurance agent and broker since 1980, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from DePaul University in 1982 and a Juris Doctorate from DePaul College of Law in 1985. As an Illinois attorney in private practice since 1985, I also act as a Circuit Court Arbitrator, and have acted as a panelist on Judicial Review Boards for the Illinois State Bar Association.

Maine Township citizens are to determine the future of this urban area, and the trust they place in their elected officials must be highly regarded. Maine Township Trustee is a position requiring responsible, ethical conduct by one who hears and respects the direction called for by its electorate. In short - a position of public trust.

With my care for this community, educational and employment backgrounds, and belief in ethical conduct fostering effective responsible governing, I am a Republican candidate for Maine Township Trustee. Please vote for myself, David Carrabotta, and the other candidates on our Slate, Peter Gialamas, Kimberly Jones, Susan Sweeney & Kelly Schaefer on April 4, 2017.
