Park District Staff Play End-of-Summer Softball

and pool staff and summer camp staff challenged members of the staff to an end-of-summer softball game Aug. 4

Sue Braubach, the district's marketing and public information manager, wrote this about the event:

"We did this last year and everyone involved had so much fun so we decided to do it again.  It is a great way to end the summer before the kids head back to school.

Camp staff had a nice dinner first and then enjoyed some fun and laughs as they played against the district staff in a 6:30 p.m. game.

At 9 p.m., the park district staff was ready to face the pool staff in a late night game.  The pool staff had a great time on the field and also got to enjoy a late night pizza treat."
