• Man sentenced for on-campus antisemitic graffiti (dailynorthwestern.com) — A Niles resident has been sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to hate crime and institutional vandalism charges tied to antisemitic graffiti on Northwestern University's campus. Cook County prosecutors say the man, previously convicted for similar offenses at Jewish institutions, was identified through surveillance footage showing him drawing swastikas and other hate symbols before his February arrest.
