16 Sets of Twins Make Up Class of 2015 at Glenbrook North

That makes 6.6 percent of the number of graduates this year.

People born in the United States with a twin has risen in recent years to about 3 percent.

But when it comes to this year’s graduating class at Glenbrook North High School, that number more than doubles.

Of the 486 students set to graduate in 2015, there are 16 sets of twins, according to the Northbrook Star. That makes 6.6 percent.

“Sixteen sets of twins, it’s crazy!” said Michael Tarjan, GBN assistant principal for student activities. “Wow, I’ve never been around so many twins.”

“It’s a joy to see them grow, and it’s pretty neat to see how 16 families can touch so many different parts of our school and double the fun.”
