Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter Opens Pet Showcase at Northbrook Court

Orphans of the Storm is proud to announce the opening weekend of the Pet Showcase & Gift Wrap at Northbrook Court. Saturday and Sunday, February 21-22.

After a short absence over the holiday season, the local animal shelter is back!

Each weekend at the pet showcase, visitors to the mall will be able to meet up-close and personal a selection of dogs and cats that are available for adoption. And the shelter will be able to prove to the public that the best pets to be found can and are discovered at animal shelters.

Showcase hours will be 11am-5pm each Saturday and Sunday. Hours will be extended for holidays. Gift wrapping will also be offered for donations. The showcase will be manned entirely by volunteers. To become a volunteer, visit the Orphans website.

Orphans of the Storm continues to be a refuge for the stray and abandoned dogs and cats from throughout Lake and northern Cook Counties. Animals are available for adoption each day 11am-5pm
