Police Called to Oak Lawn Hooters after Two Men Eat Other People's Food

The men refused to leave the restaurant until police arrived to escort them out.

Oak Lawn police were called to Hooters on March 8 for reports of two men who were eating other people’s food and refusing to leave.

Police responded to the call around 6:20 p.m., and they escorted the two men outside the South Cicero Avenue restaurant, according to police reports. One man cooperated with police, he provided his identification and he left the property.

The other man, Francisco Valencia, age 22 of the 7100 block of South Ridgeland Avenue, Chicago, tried to get back inside Hooters, and he refused to give his name or identification to police, according to the report.

Valencia was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to real property and obstructing a peace officer. He was given an April 9 court date at Bridgeview.
