ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Township recently hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to express gratitude to its volunteers for their significant contributions to the community. The event was held on Wednesday, April 24, at OPA! Modern Greek in Orland Park, where over 70 volunteers from different departments gathered to celebrate their achievements.

Volunteers are vital to Orland Township, dedicating their free time throughout the year to assist in various departments. They help in the Township’s Food Pantry, work with Health or Senior Services, and participate in several community events throughout the year. Each volunteer plays an essential role in the Township's goal to improve the lives of residents and make Orland Township a better place to live.

At the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, Supervisor O’Grady expressed his appreciation for the many contributions of the volunteers, which contributed to the success of the Township's mission over the past year. He highlighted the hard work and dedication of each volunteer, which enabled the Township to run smoothly and effectively. Orland Township Clerk Cindy Murray, along with Village of Tinley Park Trustee and Senior Services Assistant Bill Brady, joined him in front of the crowd to offer their gratitude.
