Oswego Students Help Give Back to Community
Students at Churchill Elementary School organized a food and school supply drive for the Kendall County Food Pantry.

OSWEGO, IL — The Churchill Elementary School Character Crew recently delivered more than 450 items to those in need in Kendall County.
According to Oswego School District 308, the students recently organized a food and school supply drive for the Kendall County Food Pantry and personally delivered the items.

The Churchill Character Crew is an after-school club that gives students opportunities to demonstrate good character based on the six pillars of the Character Counts! program, according to a press release from the district.
The students help plan and execute Character Counts! assemblies, coordinate school-wide service projects, and connect with the community in meaningful ways, such as food and clothing drives, and visits to the Autumn Leaves Memory Care facility.
