David H. Dermenjian to Managing Director

CHICAGO (April 10, 2013) — Mesirow Financial today announced the promotion of David H. Dermenjian, (33) to managing director of its Investment Advisory group. This promotion recognizes Dermenjian’s continued dedication to client service, business development and the firm.

David Dermenjian is a managing director in the Investment Advisory group of Mesirow Financial, where he works with public and private corporations, public sector entities, high net worth individuals and not-for-profit organizations in order to design and implement asset allocation investment programs that suit their investment goals. He consults with clients on the full scope of their financial needs, including investment management, estate planning, retirement planning, income protection and more. He also works with corporate clients that sponsor qualified services to develop and maintain their fiduciary process specializing in manager analysis and the creation of asset allocation models. David joined Mesirow Financial in 2002, and has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry having previously traded options and futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

David is a Registered Player Financial Advisor with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA), an associate board member to both the Susan F. Lasky Cancer Foundation, and the Children's Oncology Services, Inc. (COSI). He was named one of Chicago magazine's "2012 Five Star Wealth Managers" as selected through an independent survey to identify Chicagoland wealth managers who scored the highest in overall client satisfaction. David is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® designee (AIF^®) and earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from the Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He was raised in Arlington Heights, Ill. and David and his wife and son currently live in Chicago.
