The Palatine Jaycees are hosting their 3rd Annual Fall Back Brew Fest on November 2nd from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Palatine Aquatic Center parking lot (340 East Palatine Road.) The festival will host a mix of about 50 local and national breweries, giving attendees a chance to sample their favorite fall beers. Food trucks will also be at the event again this year.

“We’re so excited to bring back the Fall Back Brew Fest for a third year,” said Hannah Meadow, co-chair of the project. “We will be hosting a variety of seasonal beers such as stouts, porters, ciders and more from many local breweries. The full list of breweries is still being finalized, but so far we have Leaky Keg Brewing, Half Day Brewing, Maplewood Brewing, Marz Brewing, and Buffalo Creek Brewing in attendance.”

The Jaycees are hosting two local food trucks at the event, Perk N' Pickle and My Funnel, offering attendees some food to pair with their beer tastings. Coming back for the 2nd year to entertain the crowd is Transformation Rocks.

"Tickets are going fast,” said Sarah McKillop, co-chair of the project. “There will even be some small batch and specialty brews for those who opt for the VIP ticket, and we have a few VIP tickets left too.” VIP access will include access to the event, with a noon admission. Additionally, VIP customers will have access to specially selected beers that are only available from noon to 1:00 pm and will receive five additional tasting tickets.

Tickets can be purchased at www.fallbackbrewfest.com. All profits from Fall Back Brew Fest and other Jaycee fundraisers are given back to the community through community grants, high school scholarships, the annual Easter egg Hunt, fireworks and entertainment for the Fourth of July Hometown Fest celebration, holiday giving programs, township programs and more.
