How Much Snow Will Illinois Get?
Snowfall of up to one inch an hour is expected at times Saturday evening.

Just as last week's snowfall started to melt, more winter weather moved into the area on Saturday afternoon. A week after some parts of Chicagoland got as much as a foot of snow, just how much more of the white stuff can we expect? According to the National Weather Service, bands of snow will move through the area Saturday afternoon and evening, with snowfall rates of up to an inch per hour at times.
Accumulations of one to three inches can be expected by the time the snow stops this evening, according to the NWS.
Drivers are urged to use caution, as visibility may drop to as low as 1,000 feet at times.
