Plainfield Chamber Reschedules Candidates Night

PLAINFIELD, IL -- A tornado watch forced the cancellation of a planned Feb. 28 Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce Candidates Night, and now the event has been rescheduled. Residents are invited to come out and meet with candidates in the April 4 consolidated election.

The rain date is set for Tuesday, March 14, at Community Christian Church, 24035 Riverwalk Ct. A "meet and greet" begins at 6 p.m. in the lobby, followed by the Candidates Night program at 6:25 p.m.

Candidates for the Plainfield School District 202 board of education, Plainfield Village Board, Plainfield Township board, Plainfield Park District Board of Commissioners, Plainfield Public Library board and Plainfield Fire Protection District board have been invited, according to PACC Executive Director Tasha Kitson.
