Who's Running? Plainfield Park Board
Only three people are running for the three six-year spots.

In another unchallenged Will County race, three current Plainfield Park District commissioners are seeking re-election to three six-year spots on the board, and a write-in candidate has filed to run for an unexpired two-year term in the April 4 consolidated election.
Park district Executive Assistant Wendy Calabrese said Rob Ayres and Ridgley Ann "Mimi" Poling -- appointed to the board as part of a 2014 "reshaping" and re-elected to two-year terms in 2015 -- have filed petitions to seek re-election, this time to six-year posts.
Joining them is Heather Kazmark, who was appointed to the board in 2015 after former commissioner Janet Silosky's resignation. Rather than serving the remainder of that term, which expires in 2019, Kazmark is instead seeking a six-year term on the board.

Commissioner Peter Hurtado, elected in 2013, has chosen not to seek re-election, Calabrese said.
Plainfield resident Bill Thoman has filed as a write-in candidate to serve the remaining two years of Silosky's term, according to the Will County Clerk's office.
