Plainfield School District, Teachers Union Reach Agreement
After nearly a year of negotiations and meetings with a federal mediator, both sides agreed to a new contract on Tuesday.

District 202 on Wednesday announced it has reached a tentative agreement on a new, three-year contract with the Association of Plainfield Teachers.
Both sides met once again with a federal mediator on Tuesday, according to APT. Negotiations have been ongoing since last November.
District 202 did not disclose the terms of the tentative pact, saying more details will be released after both sides review the agreement.
