• Traveling Art Exhibit Opens Sept. 23 At Isle A La Cache (patch.com) — Families in Romeoville can explore a free traveling art exhibit at Isle a la Cache Museum featuring silhouette artist Clay Rice's work inspired by his children's book "The Stick." Running Sept. 23 through Dec. 13, the display and related WonderKids programs invite visitors to connect with nature through art, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
   

• No. 13 Warriors Finish Sixth, Lead Division II Field at Roy Griak (winonastatewarriors.com) — Romeoville will host the Lewis Crossover cross country meet on Oct. 10, where Winona State's nationally ranked women's team is set to compete after a strong showing at the Roy Griak Invitational. Local fans can expect a deep Division II field and a chance to see top collegiate runners race at a major regional event close to home.
