Illinois team wins KCBS cookoff at inaugural Madison BBQ Party (madisoncourier.com) — A Schaumburg-based barbecue team, We Will Rock Que, took top honors at the KCBS Indiana State Championship during the inaugural Madison BBQ Party, edging out competitors from across the Midwest. Tony and Lisa Skiroock's crew posted a grand champion score over 707, highlighted by first place in chicken and strong finishes in ribs, pork, and brisket. The event also featured local Madison teams, kids' contests, and a rib-eating competition.
