• Shorewood Police Bust Child Groomer From Washington State: Chief Explains How It Unfolded (patch.com) — Shorewood police have charged a Washington State man with multiple felonies related to alleged online child solicitation, after an investigation that began in July 2025. Working with the FBI and Will County Sheriff's Office, detectives obtained an arrest warrant, and the suspect appeared in court this week before being released under Illinois' SAFE-T Act provisions.
