Hydraulics Manufacturer Announces Expansion to Vernon Hills

HydraForce will open a 142,000-square-foot facility in Vernon Hills.

Vernon Hills will gain a new business with the expansion of HydraForce, which plans to open a 142,000-square-foot facility in The Corporate Woods.

HydraForce, which is headquarted in Lincolnshire, will launch an Innovation and Technology Center at 700 Woodlands Parkway, the company announced in a press release. More than 100 engineering, sales and marketing employees will work from the Vernon Hills facility, which the company will use for product research, development and testing.

“This facility will support HydraForce’s long term commitment to optimizing quality, service, response and growth,” Jim Brizzolara, HydraForce President and CEO, said in the release. “It is the most significant investment in the history of our company and will allow us to bring new hydraulic, electronic, and electro-hydraulic system technologies to market better and faster than anyone else in the world.”

HydraForce, a privately owned company with facilities in Europe and Asia, designs and manufactures high performance hydraulic cartridge valves, custom manifolds and electro-hydraulic controls. It has created thousands of custom control solutions for a variety of off-highway industries, encompassing farming, construction, marine, material handling, mining and forestry.

The Vernon Hills facility marks HydraForce’s sixth expansion and its third building in the corporate parks, said Chuck Lamphere, president of Van Vlissingen and Co., which develops and manages the Lincolnshire Corporate Center and The Corporate Woods.

“It is particularly rewarding when expansion opportunities arise from within, confirming that we are getting it right and providing quality business environments where businesses are thriving,” Lamphere said.
