Theology Student from Libertyville Charged With Soliciting Child
Dario Spasic told police he set up a meeting with a 14-year-old boy and meant to engage in sexual activities with him.

A 22-year-old seminary student from LIbertyville has been arrested for indecent solicitation of a child.
Dario Spasic, of the 32300 block of Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville, was arrested on Sept. 19 after making contact with what he thought to be a 14-year-old boy on a mobile social networking application, according to a Lake County Sheriffβs Office. The boy was actually a detective with the Lake CountyΒ Sheriffβs Office.
Spasic, a student at St. Sava School of Theology in Libertyville, arranged to meet with the βboyβ the same day at about 10 p.m., according to the Chicago Tribune and police reports. He was instead met by Lake County Sheriffβs Office detectives.

During an interview with police, Spasic sad he intended to meet with the teen to engage in sexual activities.

He is charged with indecent solicitation of a child and is being held on a $100,000 bond. He is next scheduled in court on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
