Find Egg Hunt, Breakfast With the Bunny Events Near Wheaton

Easter is this Sunday and several area communities will be hosting egg hunts and breakfast with the bunny events before then.

Easter is almost here.

In celebration of the holiday, several communities will be hosting egg hunts and breakfast with the bunny events. Here is a look at upcoming Easter-related events happening in Kane and DuPage counties.

DUPAGE COUNTY

Wheaton

Easter Egg Open House and Breakfast with the Bunny at Cantigny Park: The Egg Hunt will run continuously from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday and eggs will be hidden throughout the park. All guests will be given a map when they enter to help them locate the eggs. This event is an open house-style and for all ages. There will be 9:30 and 11 a.m. seatings for Breakfast with the Bunny at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road. Reservations are required. You can also decorate an Easter bag and visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny while you are at Cantigny. For more information, visit here.

Glen Ellyn

Flashlight Egg Hunt: The Glen Ellyn Park District will host a flashlight egg hunt from 8:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Churchill Park, 271 St. Charles Road. Check in starts at 8:15 p.m. More information is available here.

Eggs-trodinary Egg Hunt: This year's egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Maryknoll Park, 845 Pershing Avenue, Glen Ellyn. Families with children ages 6 and under are invited to join the egg-hunting extravaganza. Children will be divided into two age groups: 0-3 years and 4-6 years. Brookfield

Brookfield Zoo Breakfast with the Bunny: There are 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. seatings available on Saturday, March 26, for breakfast with the bunny at the Brookfield Zoo, 8400 31st St. in Brookfield. More information is available on the Brookfield Zoo's website.

KANE COUNTY

Aurora

Egg Hunt: The Fox Valley Park District will host its Hippity-Hop Egg Hunt starting at 10 a.m. on March 26 at the Vaughan Athletic Center, 2121 W. Indian Trail. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos. The event is for children ages 1 to 9 years old. The cost is $6 for residents and $9 for non-residents. St. Charles

Breakfast with the Bunny: The St. Charles Park District will host its breakfast with the bunny from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on March 23 at Pottawatomie Community Center, 8 North Ave. Adult registration is required. For more information, visit here.

Geneva

Bunny Breakfast: The bunny breakfast will be held at 8:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road in Geneva. Cost is $5 per person ($8 for non-residents). Advance registration required. Find more information here.

Annual Egg Hunt: The egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center soccer fields. The egg hunt features two age-specific areas—one for children 4 and under, and one for those 5 and up. Participants are encouraged to arrive early as parking is limited. Find more information here.
