The Integral Path to Enlightenment: Evolutionary Spirituality

Ken Wilber’s integral map of human consciousness is an evolving model with important implications for our understanding of spiritual life and awakening. In the integral view, every moment and aspect of life is seen as a potential place of practice, a moment of encounter with Spirit. This presentation will outline Wilber’s map of consciousness and suggest how to engage with all aspects of your life (self, body, relationships and society) in embodied spiritual practice.

Bill Epperly, PhD, is a biochemist and mystic. He is an integral spiritual director and an adjunct faculty member at Loyola University, where he teaches mindfulness for pastoral counselors. Bill is on the Board of Chicago Area Spiritual Directors and on the Circle of Service for Contemplative Outreach Chicago. His website is www.integralawakenings.com.
