Nearly $700,000 Renovation Underway At Prairie Landing Golf Course
Second Major Enhancement Reaffirms DAA's Commitment to DuPage County Golf Community

Illinois’ premier public golf course is getting a major makeover. The DuPage Airport Authority board recently approved a $668,000 project to rebuild the asphalt cart paths at Prairie Landing Golf Course, providing a smoother riding surface and better overall experience for golfers.
“The renovation of the cart paths reaffirms our commitment to keeping Prairie Landing open,” said Steve Davis, Chairman of the DuPage Airport Authority Board of Commissioners. “We are always striving to improve the course and its amenities and provide a premier golf experience for Prairie Landing golfers.”
Cart paths have an average life span of 15-20 years. The Prairie Landing cart paths, which have not been renovated since the course was built almost 26 years ago, were due for a facelift. The money for the renovation comes from the already approved 2016 budget and will be completed by Martam Construction. The cart paths will be under construction through the month of October.

This renovation comes on the heels of an extensive 2014 bunker renovation project that removed 42 bunkers and replaced them with strategic slopes and hollows. The bunker and cart path renovations elevate the customer experience and improve course playability.
