WHEATON, IL — Hey, Wheaton Patch readers! I'm your trusty Patch editor, Lisa Farver, and I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to you for being loyal readers of our stories. Your Wheaton Patch is a hyperlocal news site and readers like you are what makes Patch work. Thanks to you, we've grown exponentially in 2018 and we stay dedicated to bringing you the stories you want to read as quickly as we can.

Wheaton Patch got its start on Aug. 25, 2010, so we've just celebrated our eight-year anniversary. We're thrilled to report how far we've come since those humble beginnings and glad you've been along for the ride.

This August, 67,814 people visited the Wheaton Patch, according to Google Analytics. For a city with just over 50,000 people, that's a lot of dedicated readers. Whether you've read our articles on laptop, tablet, phone, or desk, you count as one of the many readers who make Wheaton Patch what it is.

In addition to our articles, readers love the Wheaton events calendar. In August, a whopping 2,883 people checked out our calendar. Keep an eye on Wheaton Patch calendar to be the first to know about upcoming events that include Arts DuPage month, a performance of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and much more.

We've also been getting a lot of great stories shared by Patch users like you! If you would like to post on Wheaton Patch, it's really easy to set up a free user profile.
