Know Your Legal Rights and Red Flags of Domestic Violence

New Trier Township's next Educational Forum Covers Immigration Rights and Domestic Violence issues. Free and Open to the Public.

New Trier Township and the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic of Highland Park invite the public to attend the township’s Educational Forum and learn your legal rights in the event Immigration and Customs Enforcement knocks on your door. The program will also address ways to identify the red flags of domestic violence. Attendees will learn techniques to stay safe and remain informed of current hot topic issues.

A panel of lawyers will share their expertise and answer questions. The featured speakers from the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic are Rebecca Weininger, Director of the Domestic Law Practice and Lia Kim-Yi, Director of the Immigration Law Practice. Gail Schnitzer-Eisenberg New Trier Township Trustee and Attorney at Stowell & Friedman, Ltd. will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the event.

This forum will be held on October 2, 2019, 6:30 p.m. at the New Trier Township hall, located at 739 Elm Street in Winnetka.
