Chicago Man Arrested in Child-Luring Case: Police
The 34-year-old man is accused of approaching two 11-year-old girls in Glencoe.

GLENCOE, IL — A Chicago man was arrested Thursday after being accused of trying to lure two 11-year-old girls into his vehicle earlier in the week, according to Glencoe police.
Huseyin Gungor, 34, of the 3300 block of Balmoral Road, Chicago, was charged Thursday, July 28, with two counts of disorderly conduct. His court date is Sept. 7.
Police said Gungor approached two 11-year-old girls in his SUV at about 5 p.m. Monday, July 25, in the area of Euclid and Scott avenues, near the border between Glencoe and Winnetka. Gungor allegedly offered the girls a ride, and they ignored him and continued to walk, police said.

Gungor, however, continued to follow the girls and repeated his ride offer, police said. He eventually drove away, traveling westbound on Scott Avenue, and the girls then called 911, the police report stated.
