• New Trier Township Trick-Or-Treating Hours 2026 (patch.com) — Families in Winnetka can plan for Halloween with official trick-or-treat hours set from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026. Nearby New Trier Township communities, including Wilmette, Northfield, Glencoe, and Kenilworth, also share their recommended hours and safety tips so local kids can enjoy a fun and secure evening. 
• History By Design: Two faiths, two churches (therecordnorthshore.org) — Christ Church Winnetka, the stone "Church on the Hill" at Sheridan and Humboldt, is spotlighted for its English country design, Tiffany window, and village graveyard.
