• New Trier's Northfield Campus Adds Coffee Bar For Students (patch.com) — Students connected to Winnetka's New Trier High School now have a new coffee bar option at the Northfield freshman campus, offering customizable drinks, flatbreads, wraps, and grab-and-go items. The Trevian Coffee Bar is run by Quest Food Management Services in partnership with BLK & Bold Specialty Coffee, which donates a portion of profits to youth-focused nonprofits, including Chicago organizations. 
• Glencoe continues search for right formula to enable development, new housing (therecordnorthshore.org) — Glencoe officials are debating a new planned development ordinance that could allow taller, denser projects while trying to preserve their small-town feel, and some residents are pointing to Winnetka's four- and five-story buildings as a cautionary tale. Commissioners tentatively favor a lower 45-foot cap over 60 feet and will continue the public hearing in October, with no specific projects yet proposed.
