Rio Olympics: Is Swimmer Conor Dwyer Leslie Jones' New Sexy Vanilla Muffin? (UPDATED)

The "Saturday Night Live" and "Ghostbusters" star has developed a Twitter crush on the Winnetka Olympian.

Say what you will about Leslie Jones: She has a type when it comes to men.

The star of this summer's Ghostbusters reboot likes 'em clean cut, well-coifed and three shades paler than the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

And it helps if his first name starts with a "C."

As a Saturday Night Live cast member, Jones has made a comedic name for herself thanks to her aggressively amorous and hilariously over-the-top exchanges with castmate and "Weekend Update" co-anchor Colin Jost. Here's just one example:

So it shouldn't surprise anyone that Jones has developed a bit of a summer crush on Winnetka Olympic swimmer Conor Dwyer.

"Hey, Dwyer, you better notice that I am cheering for you, son!" Jones said in a Twitter video of her watching the swimmer in Rio. "You been killing it in these Games!"

And Jones does not mess around when it comes to showing her support for Dwyer as witnessed in an earlier Twitter video where she drops a NSFW "m-f" bomb watching the Olympian compete in a qualifying heat:

She even put together a cute jingle for Winnetka's World-Class Watery Warrior:

Unfortunately, Dwyer came up short in his bid to earn his first Olympic medal in an individual event (he has a gold medal for the 4x200-meter relay from the 2012 Games in London), placing fourth Saturday.

But odds are pretty good Jones will be watching Dwyer compete in the medal round of the 200-meter freestyle at 8:21 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8. And if she's willing to share him with the rest of Team USA, Jones can watch Dwyer participate in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Hopefully, all this Twitter love will result in what the world—or at least the North Shore—really wants: a guest appearance on the next season of SNL that results on an exchange like this between Jones and Dwyer:

UPDATED (9:27 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8): How did Leslie Jones react after Conor Dwyer won the bronze medal in the 200-meter freestyle Monday night, the swimmer's first-ever Olympic medal in an individual event? Let's just say that she did not disappoint:

Jones, however, did reveal that her fan commitment might come with a price. But it's probably something Dwyer could arrange without much difficulty. Who knows? Maybe Dwyer could hook her up before he competes in with Team USA in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay Tuesday:
