The Cook County Department of Public Health announced that masks will be required when indoors in a public place beginning Monday, August 23 for individuals ages 2 and older and able to medically tolerate a mask. All businesses open to the public must post signage stating that masks are required to be worn on the premises at business entrances and prominently posted in an area visible to patrons and staff. Masks may be removed at restaurants, bars, and other eating/drinking establishments when actively eating or drinking. View the press release from Cook County here.
