Weather Forces North Shore Senior Center to Open Late Tuesday
Northern suburbs could see 4-7 inches of snow Tuesday, but local schools will remain open as of late Monday.

As of 10:20 p.m. Monday, while no schools have in the Winnetka/Glencoe/Northfield area have confirmed to be closed or operating on a delay Tuesday, one community organization will operate on altered hours due to an expected snowstorm.
The North Shore Senior Center in Northfield will open at 10 a.m., later than their original time according to the Emergency Closing Center.
Between four to seven inches of snow is expected in the northern suburbs with a winter storm warning in effect for Lake and McHenry counties through 9 a.m. A winter weather advisory has been issued for Kane, DuPage and Cook counties where between one and five inches of snow is expected. Strong wind gusts could make driving conditions treacherous.
