Winnetka Schools to Cut Staff
Just over 2 percent decrease in line with slight enrollment reduction anticipated.

A reduction of just over 2 percent of the staff at Winnetka Public Schools District 36 is expected heading into the 2015-16 school year.
Administrators will “continue to make adjustments based on district needs,” according to the Winnetka Talk, but the latest staffing plan presented to the board of education by Director of Human Resources Maureen Hager was passed unanimously.
The plan calls for a decrease of .88 full-time positions in certified staff and a decrease of 6.25 positions in classified and support staff, with the total decrease of 7.13 positions representing a 2.15 percent decrease in staff.
